14.0 What is the heat resistance of A1?
We have not done official test for heat resistance. From our own test we performed we know A1 can withstand a temperature of at least 120 to 140ºC.

However it also depends on the thickness of the wall of the A1 object the size / heat development of the heat as this can vary. 

Also we have A1 users who use A1 to make candles and candle holders which work perfectly.

We have done a small test ourselves with a burner which reaches very high temperatures. Although not an official test it shows that it takes quite some heat to affect the A1. The video can be found on: https://youtu.be/sXaVT7R5qGA

Terrazzo

A1 is suitable for making your own A1 Terrazzo imitation.

Make sheets of A1 in different colours.
After curing break the sheets into little pieces.
Add different colours of the terrazzo pieces into the mixed A1 and stir well.
Apply in a mould and let the A1 cure.
Sanding after releasing from a mould. Sanding can be done dry or wet, mechanically or by hand.
End results. There are so many different color combinations possible. The possibilities are endless!
